My Favourite Things

Being here in a deserted place, I remember some of my favourite things. And I praise God for the gifts of friendship, little girls, role models, sisters, fall leaves, rich colours, snowy days, a clean, candle-scented house, a fire in the fireplace, watching your older sister fall in love, conversations with Mum, hugs from Dad, and the soft knock of my younger brother on my bedroom door.
