A headquarter's farewell

“I feel quite sure if I did my best, I could maybe impress you;
With tender words and harmonies, a clever rhyme or two,
But if all I’ve done in the time we’ve shared is turned your eyes on me,
Then I’ve failed in what I’ve been called to do; there’s someone Else I want you to see.

Will you love Jesus more, when we go our separate ways?
When this moment is a memory, will you remember His face?
Will you look back and realize you’ve sensed His love more than you did before?
I pray for nothing less, than for you to love Jesus more.

I’d like to keep these memories in frames of gold and silver,
And reminisce a year from now about the times we’ve shared.
But above all else, I hope you will come to know the Father’s love.
When we see the Lord face to face, we’ll hear Him say, ’Well done.”

Will you love Jesus more, when we go our separate ways?
When this moment is a memory, will you remember His face?
Will you look back and realize you’ve sensed His love more than you did before?
I pray for nothing less, than for you to love Jesus more.

Chloe, did you write that? It was lovely! I think that I have very much seen Jesus in you, and am challenged to love him more. Thanks for letting your love for Him spill over. Love you!

Live your life in such a way as you'll be missed when you are gone but Christ will be more evident and fully knowing Him will be more desirable for others. The genuine and abundant tears I saw in both men and women alike upon your departure readily affirms you are indeed living that way! Dad
